Youthline engages youth ages 12-16 in positive leadership experiences and recreational activities while connecting them to adult mentors in the parks.

Teen Teamworks is a summer employment and educational program for youth ages 14-18.

Nite Owlz provides extended teen programming at various recreation centers from 8-11 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Activities may include open gym, cooking, computer labs and more. Contact a neighborhood recreation center for details.

IDEAWERKS is for youth ages 12-18 to learn multimedia production; record audio and video information on a digital media workstation; study music basics and computer software to create music tracks and videos; and produce and record individual multimedia projects.

Calling all future engineers and architects! We've got the bricks, but we need you to bring your imagination. Build whatever you'd like or participate in a challenge. No experience necessary. We'll also have DUPLOS®, so all ages are welcome. 

LEGO® Lab is held on weekends at various library locations. Check your local library's event listing to find out when its happening near you. 


Franklin Housing Co-op—Urban 4-H Afterschool Program

 Franklin Housing Co-op—Urban 4-H is a program of the Minnesota Urban Youth Development Office (Urban 4-H). Youth participate in hands-on science and leadership enrichment activities. Youth receive homework help and play fun, cooperative activities.

The program is open to youth in grades 1-7th grade and held at the Franklin Housing Cooperative, 2300 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis, 55406 on Mondays and Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:45 pm.
