YWCA of Minneapolis is a member organization of Girls Incorporated. Through this affiliation with Girls Inc., the YWCA offers research-based curricula, delivered by trained professionals, to equip girls to achieve academically, lead healthy and physically active lives, manage money, navigate media messages, and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Girls have opportunities to learn new skills, belong to a group, make positive connections to peers and adults, contribute to society, feel competent and believe in their ability to create the best possible future for themselves. Programming occurs during the after-school time within Minneapolis Public Schools and community-based sites.
